Lineage 1 Intro:

Many of the SINTON families on the Scottish Borders have links to Southdean.

So far, the dna project has shown that two of the Southdean lineages are connected, and that the Jedburgh SINTONs are also related, even if we don't know how.

And with even less likelihood of finding where the connection is, also a match to an Irish contingent.

Markers signifying specific lines:

It is assumed that those markers differing from the mode and occurring only on one line, are indicative of that particular lineage.
On limited data to date, this appears to apply to:
449 = 31 for S-1's line of Peter & Jeanie (WIGHT) SINTON
447 = 27 & 576 = 18 for S-3's line of James & Barbary (OLIVER) SINTON
607 = 14 for S-4's line of William & Isabella (SCOTT) SINTON
464d = 17,  576 = 20 & cdyb = 39 for S-5's Irish line of SINTONs.

However more results are needed to validate these assumptions and confirm lineage signatures. Any takers?
