| WebIntro | Yet another matching line for Lineage 1 "clump 2". Those listed here share cdyb=39, where the modal for Lineage 1 is 38. Only one of these has a different value at marker 389-2 (30 instead of 29 as everyone else has), so this is currently thought to define the line of John (marr. Jessie JOHNSTON). Several pedigrees have this John as nephew of John (marr. Helen ANDERSON), father of Sir William FAIRBAIRN, so it would be fantastic to get more representatives into the project to tease out the likely truth, or otherwise, of all those paper pedigrees, particularly as it currently (Nov 2011) looks as if Sir William's line belongs to Haplogroup R1b (lineage 2) instead. |
