Robert William Fairbairn
#1177, (cir. 1815 - Aug 1877)
| Assumed father | Robert Fairbairn (cir. 1785 - Apr 1843); Robert and Sarah are known to have an as yet unnamed "first son". It is believed that the Robert William, married to Anne NOAKES is highly likely to be that son, particularly as the witness to the latter Robert's marriage was Edward Frederick, son of George, who would therefore be his first cousin. Place proximity and dates add to this identification |
| Assumed mother | Sarah Wadham (cir. 1783 - say 1856) |
| Recruit(Relationship2Prove) | The project would like to recruit a representative of Robert William's line to prove a relationship with Edward Frederick Fairbairn Robert William is highly likely to be the son of Robert & Sarah (Wadham) Fairbairn. Proof however is lacking, so a match between the descendant of Robert William already in the project, and Edward Frederick, the witness at his marriage to Anne, believed to be a descendant of the Clapham nurseryman James' would be good to neatly finish this portion of the jigsaw. |
